What's in this calendar
- Every season anchor: Advent's four Sundays, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost
- The movable dates computed correctly each year, Ash Wednesday through Trinity Sunday
- Works in Apple, Google, and Outlook calendars from one link, no app or account
- Dates roll forward automatically: next year's church year appears without re-adding anything
The church year moves. Easter lands anywhere from March 22 to April 25, and everything anchored to it moves too: Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Pentecost, Trinity Sunday. Looking the dates up every year, then typing them into a phone calendar, is the chore this calendar removes.
Subscribe once and the principal days of the Western liturgical year sit alongside everything else on the phone: the four Sundays of Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday through Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, All Saints', and Christ the King to close the year.
The dates follow the calendars shared by Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, and Methodist churches. Traditions differ on some observances, so treat a parish bulletin as the authority for local transfers, and this link as the year's backbone.
